New Moon, New Products, New Cycles
At the beginning of summer I poured up some new magic. I poured up some good classics like healing butter and body butter. So much of my magic takes 8 - 12 weeks to infuse and I said some prayers that my life would slow down and give me the opportunity to play with my magic again in the upcoming fall season.
Well a new and exciting era indeed! I've been traveling and enjoying life on a different level this fall after a very chaotic and challenging summer. I took a week long get away with my love bug to Michigan and it was everything a couple gals could dream up and then some. The sand dunes were beautiful and the water was beautiful. We could have hunted rocks on the seashore for days. I do love the beach life but I've been missing out on this gem just 6 hours from us. I had never been to lake Michigan but I will definitely be back.
A few weeks later I enjoyed a week long camping trip from STL to Colorado and back. It was the trip that has unlocked the camping gal era and I am here for it. I've seen things I've never thought I'd see like a pronghorn at dawn, the Milky Way over Pike's Peak, or staying on the real life Witcher Mountain for a few nights. I am already looking into a couple other camping trip or two if I can squeeze them in before winter. I'm already ready for another adventure!
When I got back I was ready to pour up that magic and restock the Unplugged Apothecary. I doubled the batch of face butter and restocked four of the five tea collection. The whole magnesium line up is restocked and ready to roll...we've got body butter, magnesium oil, body scrub and spray. However you like to apply it we've got it! The amount of support I received last week when we restocked blew my mind! You all had me over here doing a happy dance and having a super grateful heart!!!!
A week or two also snuck and oldie but a goodie back into the shop...Tooth Polish has re-emerged. If you know about oil pulling this is a great product for oral hygiene. If you don't know about Oil Pulling you might want to look into it. Its an ancient ayruvedic technique that involves swishing coconut oil in your mouth and it does wonders for dental and oral health!
Did you notice anything else new in the shop??? The mandala postcards have resurfaced and there are a few new products hanging out! My personal new addition to the apothecary is my own Love Bug's infused honey!!! She started infusing local honey to make delicious and medicinal goodness and now we've added it to the line up. I've been happy to be the test taster!!! The Cinnamon & Orange might be my favorite.
I'm so glad I made time for my magic it really does bring me so much joy. It's so satisfying and brings me so much joy! I had the honor of having a pop up apothecary event in Herman, Mo last weekend and it was way more fun than I had ever expected. I connected with so many interesting souls and kindred spirits. It was a lovely reminder that you gotta put yourself out there to be seen. I feel like I'm finally in a place where I'm once again, comfortable to be me. And real talk? it was nice to be seen
